Default ignition pull?

i've asked a few questions on here before on possible causes for this but i've got another one. my lude gets to 100-110 and becomes **** slow, on the street this isn't really a problem but on track its a pain. anyway i thought the car was running rich cos it stinks of gas when you start it, however i'm getting this feeling like the ignition is being pulled when i'm flat out, it sort of starts at 90 and gets worse untill the car is struggling to get past 120, i'm hold speed through corners only to be passed on straights, is there any way the ECU would start pulling ignition on me?

no cel's just when i start getting up to 100 and over, allthough sometimes in third it can take a while for the needle to get up to 7k but i'm usually up at 90 then anyway. the best way i can put it is if i was side by side with a regular 2.0 car with say 150bhp and we were at 90mph in 4th and then floored it, i wouldn't leave him dead as much as i would only just pull away from him!

is there any reason why the ecu would start retarding the ignition when its past 6000rpm, KS doesn't effect anything above 5, does anything else?

the knock sensor would not affect timing above 5500 rpm, the only other thing that would affect timing is TDC/CYP/CKP sensors, so if you're using an OBDI dizzy and you had another laying around or could get ahold of one, you could swap it out and see if that changes anything
