Ignition Key Problem
My ignition key is worn down to the point that its very difficult to get the key to start the car. I have the Valet Key and it works fine, but it won't open the trunk.
I need a new key. Can I use the Valet Key to make a copy? Can I get Honda to grind me one? Do I just need to carry an extra key to get in the trunk?
What do you suggest?
Thanks
matt

Just use the lever
But yeah, i would definately compare the two keys to see the differences - probably just length. But go to lowes or something to have the make a copy of the valet key but Longer or shorter - whichever it is. They can do that. Just pick out the right key. They have different size keys to chose from good luck and goodnight

Re: (TheKingPin)
Yeah that lever is the last choice. It seems to me like the major difference is the key thickness. The Valet key is thicker then the regular key. So it won't fit in the trunk latch.
I guess it's worth a shot, but I was just asking before I mess with it.
