i got a 92 honda prelude (non vtech) when i start the car my idle jumps from 1000rpm to 3000rpm n i keeps doing that until i stat driving it stops until i stop at a light. im not to sure wat the problem is if any1 can help me out on this plz it is killing me n my poor car

dude used the freaking search button in the top right corner. its red. this topic has been covered over a hundred times. check your fast idle valve and you IACV. clean them. or you could take your intake pipe off and there is a whole inside the throttle body. put your finger over it when the car is started. if the idle surging stops then its your fast idle valve. you need to screw it in some. search it next time.
