when i come to a stop light my car idels down to the point it almost cuts off then idels back up to 900 rpms. any one know why.

 

did you check your coolant levels?

what generation is your prelude?

a little more info about the car would be nice and this is a commen thread, there is tons of info out there about this problem. I have this problem sometimes only when it's real hot, does yours do it all the time?

 

i have this problem too...but wut do u drive? i drive a 5th gen prelude and the normal idle is 700
