Prelude stalling problem <auto vetech>
I did forget to mention in my last thread that it is a jap import thats why its a vetech on a 1992......
Ive just changed the dist cap/rotor/leads/plugs..full service took it for a drive and the problem is still there. When cold idles at 1500 when warm about 400 but flutters between approx 100 to 500 now and then i dont want to turn up the idle as it will be a nightmare to drive when cold any other ideas out there? as it stalls when ive stopped, most of the time, all the vacuum hoses look intact

nick's gonna lock the thread before we get to have any fun... anyway, i had a real problem with my car running hot when i first got it, it idled high, fluctuating and what not, i replaced the thermostat and it was gravy from there
i was going to leave the vtec(h) thing alone and just ignore this thread. it's getting redundant. well that was until i saw the ad that goolge had on the bottom of the page. they had VTECH phones for sale. priceless

you seem to have forgot about 6 months ago when you did the coolant bypass mod. its heater hoses that go from the radiator to your throttle body. something is either rigger to get colder air. or you got a leak.
