Default IAB system and boost

I'm going to go with a p28, but I heard that with a 28 you'll lose the IAB control. Are they really necessary when I go boost? People have said that you'll lose about 8hp when you lose the secondaries how can I go around this?

Im pretty sure you will lose them, but its actually benificial. If you want proof call up blacktrax in Milpitas CA. the ownder dynod a prelude with them, then without them, no other changes and gained about 3 hp across the band. who woulda thunked.

just my .02, dont flame me for what my shop told me blah blah blah blahhhhh

Aside from the lack of a knock sensor, quite a few Prelude drivers prefer the p28. The loss if the secondaries is a benefit.

Did he totally remove them or just disconnect 'em?

Is the knock sensor really a loss?
