H23A1 2.3L

I got the oil pan off and already removed all the bolts holding the bearing cap bridge on but just cant seem to get it loose!! Am I doing something wrong? is there anything else I need to remove before being able to pull this off? whats the safest way of getting this loose i really dont want to bang or pry on it too much.
