Default How much time for break in?

My motor is finally built and being dropped into my car next week. The car will be towed to a dyno place and broken in on the dyno and tuned. How many miles should I drive it before I can take it to the track? I just want to see how it runs NA before the axle breaking turbo setup goes in. Thanks guys.

Dino Oil for 500 Miles (no VTEC, wouldnt go past 4k), then change oil + filter. After that, choose dino or synthetic, go easy for another 500 miles, and then you can open it up.

fill her with reg non synth oil, and get on the dyno and tune it. After that do an oil change to synth orwhatever you choose and you should be good to go.

yea definitely drive that non-synthetic for 500 miles without getting on it before doing the dyno and change the oil to get rid of all the crap that fell of the new parts. then exactly the same for 500 like he just said.

after that get on it not too hard and I'm pretty sure you'll know when it'll be ready

Cliff notes : Basically beating the hell out of your brand new motor while fluctuating rpms is the best way to break it in
