Default high compression

I am running a bullfrog head , intake manifold, throttlebody, cams and their reprogrammed ecu, along with type s pistons, intake, headers, exhuast, and act clutch, I am having a problem with how it runs, it runs good but the bullfrog made me slower by about half a second. I ran a compression test and each cylinder was close to the same comprssion( between 248 and 255 ) The guy at the shop I go to says it is very high, but he doesn't work on to many ludes.
I have a 1994 2.2 vtec lude, I also have stock injectors, and spark. I run 93 pump gas.

IS THE COMPRESSION TO MUCH OR WHAT? AND CAN YOU THINK OF A REASON WHY I WOULD DROP HAVE A SECOND WITH ALL THE MODS UNDERLINED ABOVE.

what is your cumbustion chamber volume and what are the cam specs?
Is it tuned? If so what is your Air/fuel ratio?
What ecu? the P13 or a chipped p28?
Do you still run a Knock sensor?
What header?

I run type-s pistons and am fine.
High compression is not necessarily an bad thing, if it knocks then it is bad.
you should be fine as long as you are not running lean.

go to a dyno with a wideband O2 sensor and see what the hell the problem is.

It's probably tuning. You're running a canned ecu program which probably blows

If you are going to do it once then get a cheap S100. if you are going to have more modifications then get S200. But get the engine tuned quick or you could ruin your engine.

yes if i recall with aftermarket cams and no tuning the car will lean out, but how much im not really sure. as with any mod you should get tunned. just run the highest octain in your area and then get it tuned.

If you want to keep your secondaries get a p72, if not then get a p28. p28's are usally cheaper and easier to find. If you can get a good deal on a p72, go for it

I would just go with a p28, the p72 isn't worth it and pretty much useless

given your already high compression you don't need to really worry about the secondaries just grab a p28 it's cheaper
