Post up your results. Also, what HID's are using? Is it a retrofit (from like an M3 or Audi, etc.) or is it an aftermarket kit?</TD></TR></TABLE>

once again to agree with everyone else, your ballast is dead, sorry to hear, you should take it out right away, if the ballast is bad, eventhough the bulb isnt lighting up, it can still send some current to the bulb and slowly killing it at night when you have your headlights on
please dont open the ballast, not only will you not be able to fix it, you might get hurt, heard there is some discharge inside that can happen and you could get shocked, and the wattage on a hid ballast is alot more than standard
alot of companies are out for a little bit, and alot just take your sale and never help you again, brightstar sells the ballast by itself if you need it, please check my post on https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=926420, believe the shop i go to sells them for about $90 plus shipping for ballast
but there is a couple things to warn you about, read up my post first and then read the rest of this, not all kits are made the same, one fo the reason brightstar last longer is because unlike the other aftermarket hid ballast, it lights reverse, if you notice, even with OEM setups like MBZ and BMWs, when you turn on, its really bright in beg. and then gets lower to the set brightness, brighstar in their technology to make the bulbs and everyhting last longer, it goes dim to bright, or the set brightness, so if one ballast is the older company, when you turn on your headlights, one side will go bright to low an d the other side will go low to bright
they will both look the same after warmup because the color is all based on the bulbs, and since both your bulbs are the same, after warm up it will be fine, jsut looks funny or cool, how you look at it when you turn it on
another thing is, jsut about every company uses different plugs, what ive had to do for friends because the ones who didnt get brightstar, they ahd bad ballast or bulbs, what you want to do is cut up the bad ballast and take the connecting plugs that match up to your bulbs, then cut the new ballast and correctly connect or especially sauder<-- dont know spelling, the wires, jsut make sure you got the correct sides, one is usually power and one is ground, usually a color of red or something bright indicates power i believe with most kits, suggest jsut getting 2 ballast or 1 at a time when it goes out, up to you
hope everything works out
