ok, i have a 99 sh turbo and the story goes: my roomate took my car to work last night and he got off around 3:30 am and he said my car just died on him. he said he didnt notice till my turbo timer started counting down.

so he called me and i met him on the road i tried starting it and it bogs really bad and smoke is comming out the valve cover breather. i check my oil and im really low( below the two dots). and i had just changed my out like 3 days ago. i checked all my lines and hoses and everything is fine. i dont know what to make of it.

sorry for the long post but im pissed about my car and i need it for work, so if anybody has any idea whats wrong please help.. thx

 

did you put oil in it and try again? also did you build your turbo or someone else put it in?

 

man that sucks! are you sure he didnt run the $hit out of it and break something?

 

we put oil back in and started it up again and this time everything sounded fine but smoke is still comming out the breather on the valve cover.

i installed the kit myself and had it tuned and everything was fine ran perfect for over half a year and now all a sudden it starts doing this...

my roommate promise that he was just driving normal and i trust him, its just weird that my car is being stupid after its been running perfect for so long...

 

if there is burt oil coming out of the breather, i would guess that your valves may not be sealing properly. you should do a compression check and leakdown if you have the tools or $ to do it. get the numbers and post them up.
