Default Help pleaseeee...

A few days ago i was driving my 95 Lude home on the highway, then I noticed when I tried to accelerate the car was bogging like crazy. I thought maybe I had no fuel and my gas guage was reading wrong (Said i had 3 bars left). So I pulled into a gas station, but it was closed. As soon as I went to drive away, the bogging was there and the car just shut off completely. Would crank over but wouldn't start.

I got some gas, an tried but same result. Then I went under the car banged on the fuel tank and it started right up but then as soon as I drove away it stalled again 2 seconds later.

First though - fuel pump!!!
Got the fuel pump changed, checked the fuel filter everything is good, went to drive the car away from the mechanics and stalled right infront of his garage doors. After it stalls the car starts back up right away, no hesitation. I've noticed it only stalls when I apply the gas.

Any suggestions as what could be causing the issue?

Thanks in advance.

TPS perhaps. Could be a multitude of issues. Yeah, check for Check Engine Lights and or attempt to pull a code anyway.

SO it idles fine though? Only issues is when you apply gas? That would indicate there is fuel present...just whats controlling the fueling is not correct.

Bit of an update.

Changed the fuel pump, checked fuel filter. There was a broken peice in the dizzy.. that was fixed

Car starts up fine now, idles good and drives okay until i apply the gas a bit hard (half throttle) the car will sputter like crazy, backfire and then shut off.

Unless its cracked you won't physically know if it doesn't work. The housing could be smashed but it could still work either way. You need to read its output with a multimeter and compair it to factory spec. A shop will know how to do this for you, so perhaps suggest it to him.
