Default Fuel Pump about to die?

Hey all,
Yesterday was wierd, my car has about an 1/8th of a tank of gas and i go to crank it and it just turns over and over ( my engine light was on) i waited till the light went off a couple mins later and she started right up. Today, i start the car same amount of gas. She started and then slowly died twice in a row. For the 3rd time i reved it up a lil after i got her started. I dont think it would be low fuel. Ive drove my civic way below E and no problems like this. and i heard that even when its on E it has 3 gallons left. Do u think it is my fuel pump dieing? or is it something else? Thanks brock

When it's on E its very close to being bone dry - when mine was almost on empty just the other day, there was only .8 gallon left.

Have you changed your fuel filter? Sounds like that might be your problem...

i know i havent updated everyone on this post in a while but ive had alot goin on with moving and all. Anyways, i filled my car up and it still does it, but its only when its cold. It'll start then die kinda like its flooding itself out. Then unusually, the Check Engine light comes on when you turn the key and stays on after it dies. It usually goes off after a couple of seconds and then it cranks up. I dont know if i need to be more specific, but i was wondering if it was my computer, my fuel pump, or my fuel filter?

when you turn the key to the on position and everything gets power can you hear the fuel pump come on. If you dont hear the fuel pump come on it may just be the main relay going bad.

How many times have you driven it on E? When you continuously do this the sediment that builds up in the tank(dirt and ****) can get sucked up with the fuel. Have you checked or changed your fuel filter lately?

Edit: I just reread your second post. Did you check to see what the code was?
