hi
i have a 97 base lude with a f20a engine,superchip,cold air intake,fse boost valve,.
when i put my foot down going up hill<around 80 mph> i somtimes here a rattle coming from my
valves.i have had the clearence checked everything ok,do you guys have any idea
what might cause this,may be timing or fueling ,

It could been pinking, especially if under load. Is it worse in hot weather? Try using super u/l to see if that helps. Is the engine/car modified at all? Oh yeah, check your timing try resetting the ecu as well as that may help.
thanks for replying,i use optimax all the time,i have just changed my plugs.i have just retared my timing a little it seems much better now,i think my superchip might
need remapping now,the rattle is much less so i must be on the right track

The stock fuel reg works better and if that regulater really coud give youBetter fuel economy and More power then dont you think they would be standard on every car!
I know someone else who had one and once he got shot of it he said it was like a new engine!
