Default Help!!!

I washed my car today, Waxed, cleaned the engine bay...i sprayed it. But i drove the car to vacum it out after the engine cleaning, i went to the store also. But i went to get some food and Now it stalls out, it jerks and shutters bad....


any ideas? Help!!!!

HAAAHAHAHA. Sorry man.

But did you cover anythingup, or did you just spray open water on the engine? Try to see if a vacuum hose came off or something.

i did not spray the engine direclty and i only sprayed my intake(the tube) and i drove the car after i cleaned it and it drove fine.....


but like 2 hours later i went to drive it to get some food and now it drives like ****...so i dont think it was the water...but again i HAVE HAD NOT PROBLEMS prior to this

you dont hear any sort of a sucking noise coming from the engine bay when the hoods popped. that would be a cracked or cut vaccum hose. id be sure their is no water in the dizzy or wires. Other than that i dunno....

water and electrcity don't get along. even if you didn't spray it directly on the distributor you could still have water in there. and do you have an aftermarket intake? you should remove the spark plugs and wires and distributor cap and let everything dry out for starters and see if that helps at all.

does anyone know if the h22 engine will mount onto the h23 tranny? and what else is needed for an h23 to a h22 motor swap? please help

Well i let it sit for 4-5 hours, i rmoved my plugs....i put a fan on it....

and it IS FINE, ran jsut as good as before

awsome, thats good to hear. id really watch out anytime u introduce water to your engine compartment

yep
i have never had problems before and i usually wash the engine every couple months

but im gratefull it was nothing serious and it jsut needed to dry out
