H22a4 in 4th gen
how well would a H22A4 fit into a 93, 4th gen? from H23 to H22A4... with OBDII conversion. Any special fitments? has anyone done this?

Re: H22a4 in 4th gen (ludedude48)
I have one in my prelude now. Runs great. I did not do the intall. I paid for it. I know I had to buy a p-13 to make it work right. I know that there had to be special wiring for the 2 O2 sensors the A4 since my '92 only had 1. Hope this helps

Re: H22a4 in 4th gen (crj_lll)
Will anyone actually answer this?
Am I dumb for wanting to?
Whatever. Maybe he's actually asking this sincerely...
Same fit as the H23. (Identical Blocks on the outside if you didn't know) Intakes are almost completely Identical.
Wiring will be in the write ups from H23 to VTEC. I think it's now on page 2 of this forum.

I have an H22A4 in my 4th gen, you can see the writeup here: http://www.jrcormier.com/prelude/engineswap.php
You don't want to convert to OBD-II and you do not need the 2nd O2 sensor.
If you have any other questions you can email me, my email in in the contact page on my site.
