Default h22 dyno plot...

Went to Trackmasters to have my engine dyno tuned.Sorry, this is a civic hybrid, but since it does have the heart of a prelude,i'd thought id share with my fellow h-t members....

heres a brief rundown ..
re-sleeved h22a block
eagle rods,wiseco pistons,stock h22 crank,acl bearings
crower stage 3's
mild ported head and stock manifold
64.5mm tb
DC header primaries with a remade custom secondary piping and 2.5" merge collector
2.5" exhaust and piping.
aluminum flywheel
no counter balance shafts
p28 hondata s100
all porting, assembly, planning done by yours truely

I wasnt expecting this much,we didn't tune the cam gears much because i pretty much just dropped in the cams after i built the motor.but i do have the portflow valve train though. And i would like to add,Bubba(Carlos) at Trackmasters was very helpful in letting me know what exactly he was doing while he was dyno tuning my car.I believe i learned alot during this dyno session. to Trackmasters and Bubba.

Nice numbers, what's your compression ratio? Are you running sleeves?

Nice numbers even with a crappy dc sports header.
Looks like the stokc manifold and the header could free up some more ponies.

Good job How many runs did they do and what's the fuel set up(injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg.) Torque seems a wee bit low but thats probably due to the header... just my .02

We did four runs i believe. im using rc 440's with a walbro 190 lph fp and a b@m fpr.Yes,the block is re-sleeved.

Are you planning on going back to get your cam gears tuned? Oh yeah...is the cat. still on?

Yes, but the primaries are still small and dinky. Im sure with a smsp header he would gain more through out the power band, or a header with better design like header-techs, or 10-94s header. Or maybe heck even A&R.

maybe,i have a feeling i may not have enough room to adjust because of the cams.i didnt want to sacrifice the engine for just a few more ponies.Plus,i was there for an hour at the most.My main concer was to get the a/f ratio correct because i was runnin on this base map since october.Even though there isnt a high hp gain, the engine runs smoother and uses less gas now.And also, along with the four hard dyno pulls to redline,we did a cruise run to just to get part throttle running well. And nope, test pipe.

the dc primaries are bigger than the stock ones,at least the stock jdm h22a i had.Bubba did recommend possibly a better manifold and headers will help alot.

i can't see the pic...what are the numbers?

I have crower stage 3 as well, I left them at 0/0 I really can't spare the room to mess with them

He made 215 whp and 159whtq i think. Not bad for a dc sports/2,5inch collectored header, and stock manifold. and wiht 11:5 tp 11:8 compression.
