Re: (hoehouseworker)
im sure sum1 is making adapter plates for the h-series to be mated with a b series gearbox, there are a few hseries motors with b series boxs around puting down way better times than with the h box

I don't see high hp b-series motors breaking trannies....
search owns b-to-h adapter plate https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1007484

shorter gear ratios that the b series trans has would be better for the guys with peaky powerband h22s.....it would keep them right in the band as apposed to our long as h22 gears....
well theyre long in comparison, but damn short in the big scheme of things.....
be careful with this, lots of people are making **** up that you dont need to exactly fit and use all the dowels, and you do.....
you also must consider the facts:
the mainshaft of the trans wont be quite as far into the clutch, so that could break more easily...
you will have weird axle fitment problems:
the passenger side axle will be shorter....
the driver side will be longer.....
the halfshaft wont fit in its old bolt holes on the block....
seems like a lot of trouble......
just get some custom gears or maybe a dog ring kit custom made, now that would be something!!

Re: (Hotori Hanso)
AllMotorCRX161 lives 10min away from me, ive seen that crx in person. That tranny makes it undrivable on the street. He claims that the short *** gears make 5th gear freeway driving a pain. Its cool though, that with that tranny, he's using all b series mounts.

i thought of putting in an LS fifth gear to make freeway driving not so harsh. i think its only a 5% rpm reduction but im hoping it will be enough.
