1. Sell the prelude and buy a del sol or CRX
2. Buy one 18c type R engine or H22a
3. Insert number 2 into number 1
then run 12-13 sec quaters all day long --- without a big turbo or highend engine build it just isn't goin happen in a prelude.....

keep the prelude. looks like you've done most of the basic work. a flywheel can help with accleration. if you want to go faster on a budget...try a cheater mitrous kit...

Default common specialedition

it seems like u didnt read what i said specialedition.... i said what could i do without doing something stupid expensive... and and engine swap or buying a old crappy crx is not where i was wanting 2 go.... as far as "bang for your buck" goes u think a better ligher flywheel would b the best? oh yea i already have tein ss coilovers on it right now, so i think the suspension is ok... as far as nitrious goes, i dont want my car to explode haha and i want it to last a while...

any other things i can do... here is a pic, i know its faster without the 18" on it but they look pretty good i think.. oh by the way u think gettin a highflow cat is worth it?

I have a 9lb. flywheel on my car. The flywheel makes a difference in acceleration and speed since it does not weigh as much. Every little bit helps when you are talkin about our cars. However, I just made a general statement as to tuning a honda. The prelude is not a drag car unless you plan on spending ungodly amounts of money (i.e. oaksracing car) then it still is hard to break ten seconds. If drag racing is your thing then my previous post was just a suggestion- do not take it literal -- it has to do with physics it is a whole lot easier to make a 1800 lb car run 10 sec quaters than a 2800 lb car.

oh yeah I would not do the Nitrous thing unless you do not care about your engine and feel that you are going to be rebuilding it soon ....

You could get the rest of the simple bolts.

Pullies, Hi-Flow cat, Cam Gears, lightened flywheel, 2.5 inch header mod and I guess that's about it.
