Fuel Cutoff Problems
I own a 1999 Honda Prelude SH,
my fuel cutoff engages at 6800, but it should be engaging in the late 7k or early 8k rpms.
any ideas?.
BTW I have been told I could be in LIMP/SAFE mode, but I can still hit VTEC so that is odd.

Are you absolutely sure you're hitting VTEC and its' just not the 2ndaries opening? As far as I know if you hit the ~6400 RPM limiter, then the VTEC won't engage either. I'd check the typical things like oil level, is the car up to temp, is the VTEC unit's wire plugged it, etc.

I'm quite positive that I am hitting VTEC because it engages at the higher 5k rpm.
I think I'm just going to have to bring it in to the dealership because Someone told me that it could possibly be a leak in the VTEC Filter.
