Default Front bumper problems

I wrecked my car about 3 days before christmas last year and I just got around to fixing the front. I recently replaced my headlights and front bumper cover. Come to find out the bumper cover doesn't fit all that well, there are gaps under the headlights and where it meets the fenders on either side. Does anyone have any ideas how this can be fixed? I think it looks pretty bad.

Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about...

On the 4th gens i heard that there are some long screws that connect to the bumper support that you can adjust? behind the headlights

That does help a bit, as long as ur frame wasn't bent. those two 12mm nuts acutally move the bumper support up/down alittle bit, but u'll have to losen the four bolts that also hold the support, which are behind the bumper lenses.

Also, ur OE replacement fits better than mine..

easy boy.

those bumpers don't fit that bad I think....though I've never needed one...

He probably just bent little mounts and such slightly in the accident.

The drivers side took most of the hit. I think I straightened everything out pretty good for the most part but I would like to make it a little better.

I know what bolts your talking about. I'll try messing with those some more and see if that helps any. If not I'll try the shimming trick.

I have a $30 OEM Replacement bumper, and it doesn't line up to well underneath the headlights, but its still better than havin a mashed up bumper, atleast till i get a real OEM one.

I'm jealous of how mint your headlights are.

Get some 2-3 washers and space the bumper up. I bet that'll fix your gap.

are those oem replacements or some cheap thailand ones?

the previous owner of my old prelude got into an accident and destroyed the front bumper, and then he bought a new one and painted it a matching oem color. it was the really cheap kind.

i have never figured out why it sags even when i have continuously tried to adjust it. i have a feeling a lot of the cheap bumpers are just crap and have semi poor fitment
