Default Fried ECU

Heat shrink your connections. tape comes off over time and causes things to burn. i.e. this.

the electrical tape was put over the connection by certified solderers and gave way 3 years later. We ran out of heat shrink.

I read the full version. Nasty man, that's some hardcore repair you'd have to do with the PCB burnt like it is. That one chip might be replaceable, and you can cut the burnt traces and run jumper wires - but no way the repair will be as strong as the original. You'll just be delaying the inevitable I think.

that sucks bad.

Drill out the PCB and re-epoxy it. Run a foil run, replace the Pin and the Chip and you are good to go.

Just etch the inside of the PCB so that the epoxy fills in like a puzzle piece on all sides.

however all we would do is clean it up, run a wire replace the chip and call it a day lol. remaking the board would be a PITA.

I have a fully working spare P13 (JDM Manual) ECU, which will be up for sale on ebay soon. Don't need it now as I have an EmeraldM3D mappable in its place. If you make me a reasonable offer and I will ship it to you.

I am based in the UK, but postage will be only be about $15. I can take PayPal
