Take a picture of the inside for the whole thing and a close up of just the big chip.

****, pgmfi is down. Take one of the whole board please?

Usually you could just look up the 274 on a list, but the list is gone.

You can tell basically what ecu it is by looking at some of the components.

Is there a sticker in the area where the harness plugs into?

Negative, as mentioned in my original post the sticker is gone that labels the ECU.

There are prolly many p30s with many codes. Stick it in a car and see what happens.

That is what i'll probably try tomorrow, in my stock CX and see what happens. I figure if its a Vtec ECU it will show a check engine light for something. It was included when I bought the engine but the seller was unsure of what ECU it was. Im hoping it's a P30.

Should throw a 22 I think if it's vtec, also the 4 wire code, and p30 will have a knock sensor code.

you're in Cali, converting the ECU wouldn't be smog legal anyway.
Good luck finding a USDM P30. They are rare these days.
