DC5 K20 into a bb6. Been done.

As far as sizes go...iono.

Some dude floating around H-T swapped RWD and a crazy V8 into theirs...but that's a little over the top.

Hell if I know all the details, i'm just the messenger in this case...There is already a topic on this. Top right corner is the search feature. I'm sure you'll find it if you use somewhat relevant search words...

Now why would you want to swap a 2.2l 200hp engine out for a 2.0 l 200hp engine? It doesnt make since to me....and please dont say that the K20 makes more power because the H22 and the K20 are not that far apart as power goes. Yes the K20 is more technologicaly advanced and has better aftermarket support, but it just wont make that big of a difference.

I always thought the blue top was an H22A. Honda never made an H22C...it's a typo in the JUN video.

im willing to bet anything other than one of the various H22s will be more expensive than its worth.

but ive always had a theory that accord v6 engines would fit pretty easy because of the similarity with the accord and prelude chassis. however everyone will argue about oh it makes about the same power and weighs more blah blah blah without looking at the bigger picture but thats for a whole other thread.

Its the same power stock, but i bet it would make serious power modified...can you say boost? V6? That would be nice. But unfortunately no one is gonna spend the money or go throught the hassel of doing this swap in the oh so neglected and hated Prelude.

does this mean that the vtec head with a 23 block isnt a good idea????

H22 dUdE. Oh you want displacement? Build a 2.7L. But for more power and the same price (or less) boost it. Nevertheless, just stick with the H22, it can't fail to please. I wish someone had the dough to build a H27, 9:1 pistons, and boost it. Shoot, just stick a bottle to it while you're at it. All these ideas are expensive and I'm just throwin some bs, but it'd still be cool.
