V Tech Engines
I did a search and could not find the info I wanted. Can anyone tell me if there is a 2.2 Liter V Tech engine and what models and years it came in? I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. It seemed like a tech question to me.

don't do that anymore.
The search button with teach you plenty, but you need to know what you're looking for. Search H22 (the more common 2.2) or F22.

Sorry, I'm a little lost. This is the first Honda I've ever owned and I was just trying to find out some info. I don't know the differences or engine types in these cars. If it was a Ford or MOPAR V8, I'm right in there!
EDIT: I did some research. From what I could find from 1990 to 1993 the Honda Accord only came with the 2.2 FA22 I4 engine in it. The engine was exactly the same for DX, LX, and EX each year. The only variance was the exhaust manifold was bigger on the EX series adding 10 hp. (Woo Hoo! I'll try not to spend it all in one place!) The 2.2 V Tec was only ever available in the 97 - 01 Prelude, and 94 - 97 Accord. Sorry to bother y'all.

Hey man, everyone has to start somewheres, but i'm glad to see you're doing some reasearch. Again though, you WILL get flamed by everyone for not spelling the acronym the right way, VTEC.
Was the F22 the engine you were looking for?
