Re: engine swap help (1999CivicSi)
^^^^^ same what he said
if he needs a cheap engine get a blown engine or a engine from a junk yard and rebuild it with just the original parts and new pistons rings and that kinda stuff, its cheap but not the best thing to do. wont last very long and i dont know about the reliability. but i think it would cost less than $1k.

Re: engine swap help (1999CivicSi)
This same question was asked a few weeks ago...
Here's my answer -
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by MLBZ521 »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Would it work? = Yes, some how, some way, some day, yes, it would work..
Is it worth it = In my opinion... No.
B-Series motors do not make as much HP nor TQ to equal an H-Series.. So putting a smaller/weaker motor into a jeeze... Almost a 1,000 lbs heavier car... Would be very ignorant...
Putting H-Series in Civic/Integra = Makes sense, but not the other way around...
This speculation is on the grounds of stock cars, motor, body, etc, wise..
If I was that guy I would do a little bit more research before I bought that motor from him and put it into a Prelude.. Doesn't make sense to me..
</TD></TR></TABLE>
Good Luck on convincing him not to buy it...
