Default Engine Done!

Wooohooooooooooooooooooooooooo! After 7 months of not having my car the engine will be done today, installed tomorrow.

Not to rain on a parade, but seeing how open the timing belt is reminds me of a story.

About a Nissan factory-backed SCCA car which had a similar setup. During a race a small pebble was kicked up, bounced around inside the engine compartment, got caught by the cam belt and gears, and bingo, the cams instantly became offset a tooth. Took them a long time to figure that out. They don't run open covers any more...

214-218 no more... that's if you dial the cam gears for hp, not torque.
