hi. does anyone know anything on a b21a1 ? i aw this today in one of the local salvage yards and im curious to see if it is in anyway soemthing close to the b20b or z. i have looked in frequently asked questions but didnt see anthinbg in there. ill do some further searching but any help is appreciated.

 

i did a search and found 1 article but it wasnt much. my main issue is whether or not parts are readily available for a bottom end build for this block!

 

the b21a1 was the 90-91 Si motor. it was a 2059cc motor that honda classified as a 2.1L has ~145hp and has a bad habit of eating oil. most of the time it doesnt and its a good motor. unless you can get a real good deal on it, then go for the Jap B20a for the 88-91 preludes.
