Hello im a new member to the forum but have visited many times before.

Now comes the fun part i can not find info on my engine code, nobody lists it as a factory option for engine code d13a2 just the d15a2 its a carbureted 1.3l. ANY I FO WILL BE APPRECIATED! What country market is the car from?
The engine code usually is stamped into a square on the block itself, not a plate riveted to someplace like a bracket.

Re: D13A2 MOTOR SPECS NEEDED!!
I was looking at the list of d series and it seems like they're all the same block im just not positive. I also realized hondas werent assembled in the us at this time they were still imported so it would be a jdm engine code but still cant find a d13a2. specs just d13b2 which is the mgfi version and specs for a d15a2 and a3 which seem to be just bored a little more with a different stroke.

The Wiki doesn't give important specs like journal width or size. Rod length, deck height, bore specs etc etc.
Usually it's just power and stroke specs. Not enough for rebuilding an old tired motor.
I would check on Helminc.com and see if they have the helms manual for the car. As long as it's a USDM car it doesn't matter where it was assembled. In 87 it may have been assembled in Canada before they had a plant in the US. Most of the 90's cars were that way.
