E-brake boot??
In my 92 Prelude Si when I apply the e-brake the space under it has what looks like used to be a piece of rubber with like a slit in it, but now it's just a huge gap. It's filthy in there, and from time to time change or something will fall in there, I'm wondering if there was some sort of boot there at one time, or where I can find an aftermarket E-brake boot...did some searching, but all I found was shift boot stuff. Thanks
i'm looking for the same, My car has nothing beneath the ebrake handle and it's pretty dingy down in there... I thought there was a leathery boot on some 4th gens much like on the shifter, but I dunno... I ordered what i thought was that from someone on the board a while back who was parting out their car (along with some other parts) - but they just sent me the rubber "boot" that is the whole ebrake handle
not quite what i was looking for - but I appreciate their efforts and the misunderstanding. they also sent me a badly scuffed mudguard that had green overspray (for my red lude )
boo-urns... but the rest of the items were fine.

I've seen something on modacar.com, but from the looks of it I don't know that it would fit right, i think it was intented for people buying aftermarket brake handles (waste of $85 if you ask me). I was thinking of just finding a nice strip of black leather wide enough and taking the panel off, then just attaching it from the inside, at least it would be some sort of cover to keep crap (change, sonic mints) from falling in there.
There is a black leather boot that I know at least came on 96 si's my brother's and friend's cars both have them. Take a look around some classifieds or salvage yards.
Also, you console is different. Do you have the one that runs all the way back and between the rear seats, if you do that boot wont work. The best thing would to find some thick rubber and restore it yourself. Or just live with it.
Yes, it is the one that runs all the way back between the back seats

Not wanting to live with it would be the reason I started this...I looked at the stick for the brake, and I noticed it's like two pieces, one that's the handle part, and then from there down is the plastic stick itself, the two sit flush, has anyone tried replacing the e-brake handle itself, then taking off the plastic on the stick from there down and fitting one of the rubber/leather boots from like a 94-96 prelude console, or maybe a universal boot??

Yah I'm real sure ebay has brake boots you can buy. Ive been looking for one to fit the new brake handle I bought. Not to hi-jack or anything but, how do you get the damn plastic handle off the factory e-brake stick...anybody know?? cause I don't see any screws and I hate to start breakin stuff if I don't have to
