Since VTEC is either on or off, how do you think it could possibly work in this "dual stage" scenario?

its not possible to have 2 vtec engagement points unles you have a d15b sohc vtec engine that is 3 stage vtec.
on the h22a the vtec is either engaged or NOT engaged, meanign 2 stages.

so should i get this or a stock one.
i was thinking this one also because the vtec kicks in at 4600 instead of 5000 or 5100

i have teh skunk2 usdm ecu map, the xs usdm ecu map, a dinan usdm map, and 2 versions of the spoon map as well as the ks-rom map, its hard to tell any of them apart....id start with a stock one to be honest, it can easily be rechipped later if needed.

the dual stage has to do with throttle %... if youre under a certain percentage itll engage higher, and if youre at wot itll engage lower.

but either way, never buy some bullshit ecu off ebay. how can they possibly set a custom fuelmap to run a motor when they have no idea whats done to it. all it does is add fuel, which is stupid... lean makes power
