downside to oversized rod bearings? (like theres an upside "a")
my h22 spun a rod bearing and the had to shave the crank to .075 over just on the rod journals not the crank.....and i have already purchased the 75 over rod bearings and they are about to assemble my motor i guess im just wondering if my motor is pretty much trash or is it ok because i beat up on this motor pretty bad....thanks

where did you get the custom 75 over bearing.. that is alot of material, but if the machine work is done right and you keep the oil levels ok, then you should be alright, but now that bearing will always have a a bit more stress because its smaller

i found these rod bearings at some machine shop near my house in san diego, CA they got them nextday.........hey but im just wondering if my motor will just crap out like the first time i step on it?
