Re: does the 5th gen. prelude
reason i asked is because after a decade of being on the roads i have not see that typical rust starting to form in the rear quater panel on the 5th gen. lude. I have seen the 4th gen. and of course the accords. I thought the honda engineers finally solved tthat damm issue wirth the 5th gen. preludes (and all honda sedans of the like)

Not all Preludes have the rust problem. Just depends on where about you drive and if the car was wrecked previously in that spot. None of the Preludes I have owned had that problem.

I have noticed that the cancer always starts on Hondas on the quarter panel right below the gas tank fill neck, be careful when filling up and make sure you wipe away any spilt gas because it will just run in between the quarter panel and bumper and eat away.
