Well I hope I don't get torchered 4 this thread but hey its worth a try..well I heard some guy had used his dremmel tool and ported/polished his headers/throttle body & intake manifold..could this be done @ home on a prelude..can u up size your throttle body your self can u take off ur header and port/polish it and what about thee down pipe..what about P&P that too? Jus some ?s I wanted to ask

i imagine you could do your throttle body, but as well as the rest of the stuff?? IMO...no. the P&P is nearly impossible.. your hand would have to be so steady,it couldnt happen...

Not even your down pipe/collector pipe..hmm it wouldn't let more exhuast out ..?...and what does retrofitted mean ??I saw it on ur sig?

well, you could bore out your collector, but the metal is only so thick... as far as the downpipe, you couldnt do curves with the dremel, and even with the collector, you could only go so far into the pipe...

retrofitted is when you take parts from a diff car, and modify them for your car... in my case, i have retrofitted some M3 projector headlights into my stock prelude housings...

I would say you would end up with an uneven port job and possibly bottle neck type port jobs that would more likely disrupt flow then increase it.

i hear if you bore little holes through the header while your porting you can hear the oompa-loompas inside the motor working away....

this is not a good idea....dont do it....
