Default current turbo setup...

i don't think i want to spend over 2k for a turbo kit so i'm thinking about custom making one myself. Heres the setup i plan on running:

-custom manifold
-t25 turbo off of 300zx
-custom ic piping
-1g dsm sidemount ic
-1g dsm bov
-dsm 450cc
-custom down pipe/exhaust

Let me know what you guys think. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You're going to need some kind of fuel management besides the injectors.

Hondata S300 or AEM

It all depends on what your goals are.

i would look into chrome or uberdata, they CAN be a lot cheaper than hondata/AEM if you get a good tuner. Call around and see if you can find a tuner in your area to tune one of these two.

i wil be using my current 2.5" exhaust piping. Since i'm only boosting around 5-6 (i believe that's what the internal wastegate is set at on the t25) a friend said that 2.5" should be okay. Any thing bigger and I'll lose back pressure and a lot of torque. As for fuel management, it will be my daily car so this is the only thing im willing to spend more money on. I plan to have it dyno tune using hondata s200 with boost. I guess my goals on this setup is to increase the hp and definately torque...oOoOo..i love torque. I just need some more power out of my h23 to leave my fellow h22's in the dust...hehehe..j/k Any more suggestions would be great. Thanks for the replies so far.
