Default Crank Angle Sensor

Im getting a code for crank angle sensor. What are the possible problems and or solutions ? What does this exactly mean ?

i need help with this too, i cant find it in the helms manual, but my friend's 96 bb1 with a jdm h22a though he is obdII has this problem, i bought him the sensor, but I dont know where is the location of the sensor to fix the issue

if its obd1 in in the distributor. replace that. last time I washed my bay i got water in there and i threw that code. new dist. and good to go.

edit: not sure but I think the obd2 is located near the oil pump

The 92-95 has the sensors in the distributor.

96+ has the TDC and CKP sensors at the oil pump, and the CYP in the distributor still.

If you put an obd1 engine in an obd2 car, you need to swap on the obd2 oil pump/distributor and sensors and all, or wire the obd1 crap to work and use that distributor.

then change out the sensors on the oil pump. Take off the crank pully and the timming belt cover, i think you might have to take the timming belt off also.
