Could this problem be the distributor?
ok well my prelude wont start and it is not getting any spark. i have checked every connection every fuse and even swapped in another ecu that i had and still nothing. so this is what i figured out. i swapped in another ignition coil and plug wires that i got off one of my friends, and still nothing. so i was thinking maybe a short some where. well,i checked to see what all was getting power and the coil is getting power and the distributor is getting power but after the distributor there is nothing left to check is thier. but i took off the distributor cap and everything is fine and the rotor is spinning when i bump it so now broken timing belt. please help me!

the ignitor inside the distributor could be bad. Pretty common issue. Just do a search on no start or no spark. I know I have detailed out the diagnostic procedure to a couple of guys in tech forum on this problem
Hope this helps
