Default Constant Squeaking

Hi,

I just recently purchased a 92 prelude si. Car ran perfectly all of november and then recently in december it began to make a constant squeaking noise. Noise happens when I either turn my steering wheel or go over a bump ( noise comes only from the front) . I am thinking its my bushings but would like your opinions bc hell most of you know what the f*ck you are talking about.

You need to be a little more specific on your squeeking. I get some intermittant squeeking from my altenator, it only happens when there is mostiure in the air.

Your suspension bushings, most likely your upper control arm bushings, are getting old, worn out, and dry. Spray some WD40 on your bushings until you get some money to replace them. I wouldn't worry too much about the squicking noises, just spray some WD40 and the noise would go away. (Speaking from personal experience.)

yeah WD40 works for mine haha. I've owned 3 preludes and 2 of them have squeaked. like streetride said, it was my control arm bushings. good luck!
