Cold Start Prob.
I did a search but nothin really petained to me. Every now and then it'll get down to 0 - 10F , rarely below 0 but when my car sits over night and I go out in the morning to start it, it acts as if the battery is dead. I have a VAFC hooked up and Ill get a battery read out of about 8v when its that cold. If I jump it its fine and fine for the rest of the day, or week depending on how cold the upcoming night is. Any ideas?? my battery is 2 mo old and its only a problem on the cold start. No bad idle or sputtering or anything, just not enough juice in the morning....thx
Get that battery back to where you bought it as it will be warrantied and ask them to do a drop test on it, even though it's only two months old batteries can have a manufacture fault if it's only registering 8v then it's not holding it's charge properly, if found to be the case they will replace it FOC.
