Default Cold engine problems!

Well every time I start my car in the morning, the idle will surge for a little while (from 1,000 rpm to 2,000 rpm) and then the engine will shut down. Then I have to start and rev it up until the engine is warm if not it will keep stalling. The problem goes away when it reach the operating temperature. At first I thought it was the ecu because I used a Spoon program (you know, racing parameters...), but now I'm using the original OBD-1 JDM P13 but the problem still there, also I noticed the car lost power (I guess the Spoon program works) so I will installed as soon as possible. I check all the vacuum lines, next the TPS. Any suggestions! (It a pain to wake all my neighbors )

Also I was using a Field Vtec SFC controller but that piece of sh** don't work anymore. When I try to use it, the car won't rev past 6,500 rpm (in any gear) It **** me off. I don't know if I’m use to the car now but if feels slower. I check the compression but is good (255,252,255,247) so I’m just going to keep digging.

Right now I don't have the EGR connected, how can I fool the ECU so that it stops throwing codes at me? (code 12) Any help with the surging and EGR will be greatly appreciated!
