Code 9 Cylinder position sensor HELP!!!!!
Hey guys here is the deal i did some searching and couldnt find anything really specific to the problem I have thats why i've written this forum. Anyway Im driving home from work the other day and I noticed my check engine light came on. When i got home i ran the code and it gave me a code 9 basically I looked it up and it said it could be something wrong with CYP sensor, CYP Sensory Circuit, or ECM. Im just wondering if anybody has had this problem and what they did to fix it. A few months back I had a Code 74 cylinder 4 misfire so i replaced the wires and cleaned up the distributor and that did the trick.

I would believe the CYP sensor is in the distributor. you'll have to replace the distributor as a whole. can't replace just the CYP sensor cause it's basically part of the distributor.
