Default Code 9 -- Cylinder Position Sensor ???

My car is throwing this code, what exactly does it mean and is it safe to run on it. Fill me in on this code...let me know.

that is a sensor that is bilt into the distributor you have three sensors built into it all three have to work to gether if one is out you have to replace the distributor, try to dump your codes by unhooking your batt, if this dose not work you might have to replace it.

Ok, Im changing the dizzy tomorrow, see if that solves the problem. what kind of risks are there on running the car with this code?
