cylinder sensor can it be rebuilt or do you replace it

Never heard of it being rebuilt before. You can try the junkyard to pull another. They don't normally go bad. However, from what I've seen people normally get that code when the distributor shaft bearing goes bad and starts slewing red dust around the distributor and blocking the signal the distributor sensors are supposed to give.

Just had this on my 95 Prelude S. I replaced the distributor and all is well again. I had red dust in my cap, rotor was worn badly. Sad part is it wasn't even the original distributor. I got a deal on one from a reputable seller on ebay. Time will tell with this one.

you can just replace the bearing and spray out the dizzy with some electrical parts cleaner and be good to go ... you can get the bearing from napa
