my car is throwing a code 15, its a 92 si with jdm h22, ive already searched, and i got a helms it says check resistance on coil i did that its ok, check the the two wires coming off dizzy. they are good. Helms says check ICM, i replaced it, along with cap and rotor, but it says hook a tester up to ECU to check if its bad, i dont have one but im afraid it is bad, anyone here ever have this problem?

 

Reset the ecu, see if you get the same code. 15 is a problem in the ignition output signal circuit. Are you using a usdm external coil dizzy or the jdm internal coil dizzy. Are you using a p13 ecu?

 

im using a h23 external coil, with an h23 ECU.

 

get an h22 ecu P13, did you re-use your h23 engine wiring harness? Make sure your getting 12volts from the yellow wire in the 2prong dizzy connector

on the 2 prong connector i checked the 12 volts and it was good, i have a helms im using...but i was wondering if anyone had this problem im hoping thats its not a bad ECU
