ok i had changed my headers and then all of a sudden my battery died completely but alternator is fine.. but after my car had died my cluster has been acting up.
1. speedometer doesnt move
2. odometer stopped turning
3. my motor rev limits at 6k(at least thats what the tach says)
4. brake and battery lights are dim until i pull up the e-brake battery light turns off completely and brake light brightens
any suggestons or thoughts?

 

what year of prelude is it? could be a ground problem.

Any CEL's? Sounds like your speed sensor. Its at 6k cause you have no VTEC

 

no, im not getting any cel's but y wouldnt i be getting any vtec?

 

Usually when the speedo stops working, VTEC does too

 

my cluster has been acting up too mine is a 93 my spedo and tach work but they just dont light up i changed all the bulbs but nothing. its pissing me off

 

check all your grounds. ha a similar problem was vc to frame ground
