Close to stalling.
When ever I drive my car and it's warmed up to normal temperature, I could be driving (at any speed/gear) drop it in neutral and the rpms would automatically drop to around 1000, when I come to almost a complete stop the rpms drop even further to about 600 the car shutters as if it was going to stall but it doesn't, the rpms go back up to 1000 again (I know i keep saying 100 but my gauge is acting up and doesn't read correctly.)
Or if I have the car in neutral at a stop, I hit the gas pedal and they drop down as if the car was to stall.
When I got the car a few months ago we messed with the idle/throttle body area trying to get the rpms to go down without realizing it was the gauge that was fuxed up all along. So my pedal get's stuck at it's normal sitting position once in a while, you can just push it and it will be normal, but messing with the idle might be the reason why the car comes close to stalling? Could it be a vacuum leak?
TIA

Its a sad world.
Most likely you have a vaccum leak somewhere, if the idol is bouncing. Try cleaning out your hole IM and reasembling it.
Before you do that just check for vaccum leaks.

Well if its just idleing 2 low try adjusting it at the little screw right at the end of the throttle body.If the idle is fluctuating up and down(common problem) it could be a number of things from air in your coolant lines to a vacuum leak to a faulty valve,or a combination of the 3.
If the latter is the problem mgags did a good write up a while back that covers all of the problems that are related with these symptoms.Probally in faq's or a sticky somewhere
