Check engine help please?!?!!?!?!?!?
I have a 92 lude and the check engine light has been coming on lately. I think it has something to do with the oil because my oil pan is all corroded and nasty and leaks a little bit. The light only comes on when im on the highway not in town though and once i add oil it goes off. I have a new oil pan buy am waiting till i get my turbo done to install it. Is it possible that the oil leaks more when at higher speeds or is there something else? Please help
Also i have 440cc injectors in there and am using the afc hack. The idle surges a little but i adjusted the idle screw so it doesnt surge that often. I checked my plugs and they were somehow lean.
open up your center console, and near the back/pedals of the car you should find 2 wires hooked up into a 2 pin connector. The wire colors are blue and brown...
look here... this will help give you an idea hopefully

I will give this a try since you didn't give very much information.
why are you running bigger injectors if you don't have a turbo already?
I would check the codes first to see why your getting a engine code. If your car is giving you the light because of low oil then i would be very concerned. When I had my car the light didn't come on unless the car was pretty much empty. So if its the same in your case you may have a lot of wear on your engine and putting a turbo on it will just rip it apart.
Also you don't need to open the center console to get the the jumper, you just need to reach behind it from the floor on the drivers side.

how can i check the code if the light doesnt come on all the time and when i turn the car off and put the key in the on position the light is no longer there?
you need to jump the connector with a paper clip then turn the key to the on position. If there are any codes stored it will blink them out for you. Slow flashes are tens and fast flashes are singles. so for instance if the light flashed Long Long Short short short, that would be code 23

I checked the codes first one was a egr code which i blocked off according to the 92 lude site. Second code 43 fuel supply system what could this be?
43 is also directly related to the oxygen sensor, and if you are running afc hack and 440's most likely not tunned properly, the oxygen sensor is seeing an overly rich condition, which is too much for the computer to adjust for and it throws the code
