I have the 6/9 in between my rear seats, it works sometimes but i changed my stock deck to a aftermarket deck and it now doesnt work I changed the speaker to an aftermarket speaker and it still doesnt work is this connected to some kind of amp (i really doubt it ) Let me know folks and yes i plugged it up and made shure connection was tight

Re: center speaker doesnt work 95 SI vtec (Negrodamus)
I believe there is a little amp hidden somewhere between the seats, although i've never seen the inside of a 4th gen VTEC myself. Were there any wires on the stock deck that didn't have a match on the aftermarket deck?

the stock deck and aftermarket deck seem to match to me I removed the rear pannel but didnt see a small amp this would be my only reason to assume the speaker isnt working as a result of an amp of some sort I guess.....

Re: (Lewdin' Incognito)
The amp is mounted on the underside of the bracket which holds the 6x9 center speaker. It's a metal box about the size of about 6 CD jewel cases stacked on top of each other. You might not be able to see it if you only remove the upper plastic panel.
