AMP problem, 2 speakers not working....
I dont know TOO much about car audio, but here goes....
I bought a integra with 2 additianl 6x9's mounted in the trunk, they are powered by a 4-channel amp. The amp is wired to power the additnal 6x9's, and also the stock 6 1/2'' in the back seat. Problem is the speakers in the backseat ("channel A") aren't working. The 6x9's (Channel B) do work. Not sure if the amp is busted, or not set right or what... any ideas on how to get all 4 rear speakers working?
Did a search, but cant find any solid solutions...anyone got any ideas?

Get a 9 volt battery and "pop" the speakers from the wiring at the amp.
I also work at CC and wouldn't make a guess like that without trying a couple of things. In fact I diagnosed a truck that had an old system done by us and it turned out that the LF speaker quit working because one of the speaker wires wasn't soldered, just wrapped and taped. The initial guess by the salesman that helped him was that the amp was fried.

Thanks, yeah i thought the amp was dead...
I hooked with all 4 speakers onto one channel for now and it seems to work pretty good like that, is there any danger in keeping it like this until I get soem cash to buy a new amp??
also, all 4 speakers do work fine
Thanks again

yeah, there is danger in doing that because the impedance will not be what is recommended for each speaker.
do yourself a favor, ditch ALL the rear speakers.. and either put the 6 1/2s in the front doors or get new 6.5s and put them in the front doors accompanied by a sub.

Re: AMP problem, 2 speakers not working.... (LSRracing95)
UPDATE: well I got another 4 channel amp (my friends) that works in his car, and SAME problem, the one channel (A) doesn't work.....
So I pulled out the H/U.... switched the RCA plugs (put channel A into B and B into A), and bamm, the B channel donsnt work.
Which leads me to belive that the one side of my RCA outputs on my headunit are not working....am I correct? any way to fix this? or new headunit?
