" CEL 6 " H23a1 prelude 95
Alright guys I hate taking up a thread but I'm at wits end. Backstory on the lude, was hydro locked which led to blown piston shortly after. Bought a new bottom block put everything together new gaskets ect. Car drives okay I had 3 lights. Tps sensor, fuel injector, and ect (engine coolant temperature sensor) I replaced the tps with a brand new one.. Calibrated it problem solved. Found the bad injector replaced it, problem solved aswell.
Now coming to my problem, I pick up a new ect from oreillys(kragens) installed. Cel still present the second I turn the car to accessories. I know what your thinking wiring. I tested the wires from the plug all the way to the firewall. Positive reading of 10v all around. Afterwards I tried a paper clip in the plug it's self make sure it kicks the fans on which it did. I've tried resetting the ecu, pulling the fuse, disconnecting the battery. I can't get it to go away lol possibilitys???
The car has a real hard time starting at cold I know it's some sort of limp mode -40• and it's burning super rich, from what I've found online of course that's a symptom of a bad ect but I replaced it with a brand new one? Any input would be awesome and greatly appreciated
will post pics

Sounds like it does what you expect when you jump it, so the wiring should be good to the ecu. Maybe just got a bad sensor? Instead of auto parts stores, just try and find a Honda one from a junkyard or someone parting a car out?
Put some more work into yesterday. V test from plug is 9.85. Same at ecu 9.84-9.85. Those are the ect under the distribut readings all the way back. The one on the thermostat is reading 5v true all the way back
aswell as pulled ecu. No burnt resistors, nothing out of the ordinary. Tried a p28 ecu, same code it comes on the second I turn the key I hear a relay click on maybe the main relay then cel.
